Description

The Old Stable, is a recently converted stable that has charm and character. It shares the same location as The Loft and Preseli Hills Cottage.  All 3 properties have been awarded 5 stars from the Welsh Tourist Board. They are situated on a former farm down a remote lane on the Preseli Hills which is in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The Preseli Hills is an area of outstanding beauty with wooded valleys and streams, rivers and waterfalls giving way to moorland with wild ponies and other wildlife. For walkers and bird watchers this area is of particular interest. The owners who live in the adjacent farmhouse, are happy to give further information about walks in the area should you require it.

For the more energetic walkers, a climb to the summit of Carningli (Angel Mountain) for fantastic views is well worth the effort. The avid reader may wish to read the interesting books by Brian John which combine historical fact with fiction from the area, the first of which is ‘On Angel Mountain’. Why not call in the Dyffryn Arms at Cwm Gwaun (known locally as Bessie’s) for a little refreshment or visit Penlan Uchaf Gardens – just a couple of interesting places to visit. Whilst in a central position for Haverfordwest and Cardigan towns it is also only approximately 6miles from the beautiful beach at Newport and the coastal footpath revealing hidden coves and spectacular views. It is a wonderful part of Pembrokeshire for exploring. The Accommodation consists of :- ALL ON GROUND FLOOR : Double bedroom with en-suite toilet & basin. One twin bedroom. Kitchen which is fully equipped with gas cooker & hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Utility cupboard with washer/dryer. Bathroom with full suite and electric shower.
