| Garnllys Farmhouse shares the same location as Cnwc y Bran and Y Bwthyn, half a mile from the village of St. Nicholas on the edge of the Pembrokeshire National Park. They are situated on the side of a hill with panoramic views over Fishguard Bay and the Preseli Hills. You are welcome to explore the 126 acres of fields and moorland with badgers, foxes, rabbits, many birds and carpets of wild flowers in the spring. There is a Cromlech (burial chamber) on the Garn behind the cottages. It is a splendid place for children. Fishguard is 5 miles to the north and the Cathedral City of St. Davids is 12 miles to the south. The cottages are approx. 2 miles from the National Trust beaches of Aberbach and Abermawr and the spectacular cliff walks of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path where you may see seal pups on the rocks in the autumn. It is an ideal retreat for those looking to relax and unwind. There are plenty of activities nearby including horse riding, fishing at Llys y Fran, birdwatching and walking the coast path. Day trips to the RSPB reserve on Ramsey Island or the island of Skomer which is run by The South & West Wales Wildlife Trust. A day trip on a Stena ferry from Fishguard to Rosslare in Ireland is also possible. There are many places to visit such as the Welsh Wildlife Centre in Cardigan, the Tregwynt woollen mill, the woodturner in Mathry and the Iron Age Fort (as seen on TV).
