Ysgubor Trehysbys
Currently unavailable due to restoration work.
Set within the Pembrokeshire National Park and only 2.5 miles from the centre of St Davids. A bridletrack past the cottage gives direct access to the coast path and Whitesands beach is within walking distance.
Tracks and footpaths offer unlimited walking in beautiful countryside. Ramsey Island, St Justinians lifeboat station and the tiny harbour of Porthclais, and Caerfai Bay are all worth a visit.
A quality character barn conversion with many exposed stone walls and beamed ceilings. On the ground floor there is a Sitting/Dining room with stripped polished timber flooring, exposed stone wall and open tread staircase, TV and video. Comfortably furnished. Y Bwthyn
Y Bwthyn, together with Cnwc y Bran and Garnllys Farmhouse, shares a prominent hillside position nestled in 126 acres of pasture and moorland. The location is half a mile from the village of St Nicholas, approximately 5 miles from Fishguard and 12 miles from St Davids.
This cottage has a large comfortable living room with a dining area and a stone fireplace, TV and DVD. The separate kitchen is well equipped. Y Bont
A self contained holiday flat adjoining the owner’s detached stone cottage, built on the cliffs at one side of this beautiful bay. Y Bont has views across Newport Bay from the lawned garden. A perfect place to take breakfast!
This property is in an idylic setting with stunning views, a tiny stream tumbles down from Dinas Head along side the garden and there is direct access onto the beach. There is parking and moorings for a small boat. Choughs and many seabirds nest along the cliffs. Cwm y Eglwys is a small hamlet of mainly fishermen’s cottages clustered aroung the ruins of the 12th century church of St Brynach. It is situated one mile for the village of Dinas, with eating places and small shops and garage. Fishguard is just 4 miles to the south and Newport 3 miles to the north. Other attractions in the area include the Preseli Mountains, the Celtic village of Nevern, and the Iron Age Fort at Castell Henllys. Newport Estuary and the long sandy beach are popular with bird watchers and provide easy walking.
The property has been completely renovated recently. The accommodation is all on one floor. The kitchen/dining and lounge area is open plan with the entrance from the garden. Ty Martin
Ty Martin is a traditional stone cottage of character situated in the small hamlet of Porthreidy just above the beach of Abereiddy, famous for the Blue Lagoon. It is extremely popular with the activities of coasteering and surfing. It is convenient for the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and beaches which are just a few minutes walk across the fields or by road. Boat trips to the islands of Ramsey, Skomer, Skokholm and Grassholm are of particular interest to bird watchers. The city of St Davids is only 7 miles away with a variety of places to eat and places to visit including the Cathedral and Bishop’s Palace.There are many activities to be found around the area. Why not take an evening stroll along the coast path to Porthgain and enjoy refreshments at the popular Sloop Inn.
Ty Martin provides peace and quiet without being isolated. There is a small garden and dogs are welcome although the garden is not dog proof. The accommodation for up to four people includes a living room with high beamed ceiling, comfortable furniture TV/DVD and radio. The small kitchen leads off the living room and has a dining table, cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine. The downstairs bedroom has a double bed and the two upstairs rooms have single beds. The bathroom with bath, shower over, w.c. and washbasin is on the ground floor. Heating. cooking and hot water are by electricity Economy 7. Ty Hendre
This delightful cottage set in five acres of grounds is situated approximately two miles from Fishguard, a small town with its wealth of galleries, shops and restaurants and the port for ferry crossings to Rosslare. The owners, who live next door, have created a wonderful conservation area within the grounds with a landscaped area with lake. A perfect place for a BBQ. There is also a sunny small private decked area at the rear of the cottage with table and chairs. The coast path of North Pembrokeshire, its delightful beaches and Strumble Head peninsula, which is a superb vantage point for bird watching, seals and porpoises is just a short drive away.
Entrance via a few steps to the porch and through to the spacious dining room which has tiled floor and a low six foot beamed ceiling. There is a large dining table with high backed chairs. The lounge area has a large inglenook fireplace with gas fired coal effect stove. Leather sofa and chairs make this a very cosy, comfortable area to relax. TV, video/DVD, stereo CD/radio. A step leads you into the kitchen, which has a tiled floor, period dresser and a range of fully fitted shaker style units. The kitchen is fitted with a gas hob and oven, automatic washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave oven and breakfast table and chairs. Upstairs there are two double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms. Bedroom 1 has a thickly carpeted floor, king sized bed and matching pine furniture. Trefayog Farmhouse
This spacious farmhouse is situated on the outskirts of St Nicholas on a working farm. It is close to the coastal path, Aberbach and Abermawr beaches. The local shuttle buses stop at the entrance to the farm and run frequently along the coast and into Fishguard, which is approximately 5 miles away. The farmhouse which dates back to the 14th century and was reputedly commandeered by the French during the last Invasion of Britain in 1797. The tapestry depicting this event can be seen at the library in Fishguard and the signing of the treaty was in the Royal Oak on the square. Whitesands Beach close to St Davids and the beach at Newport with its golf course and the Preseli HIlls are only half hour’s drive away. Public footpaths cross over the farmland and give stunning views of the countryside and coast. There is also a lake behind a small walled garden to the rear of the house. There is a grassed area with garden furniture and plenty of space for children to play. Ample parking for several vehicles.
ACCOMMODATION consists of Entrance hall leading to the dining room with two lounges one either side of the hallway both with open fires. There is a TV/DVD player in one of the lounges and a piano in the hallway. There is a traditional `back kitchen’ with a basic range of cupboards, electric cooker with hob and another separate hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer. The back door opens into a lobby which then give access into the side garden. The dining room is very spacious with two tables, a microwave and tumble dryer, various cupboards and shelfs. The Old Stable
The Old Stable, is a recently converted stable that has charm and character.It shares the same location as The Loft and Preseli Hills Cottage. All 3 properties have been awarded 5 stars from the Welsh Tourist Board. They are situated on a former farm down a remote lane on the Preseli Hills which is in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The Preseli Hills is an area of outstanding beauty with wooded valleys and streams, rivers and waterfalls giving way to moorland with wild ponies and other wildlife. For walkers and bird watchers this area is of particular interest. The owners who live in the adjacent farmhouse,are happy to give further information about walks in the area should you require it.
For the more energetic walkers, a climb to the summit of Carningli (Angel Mountain) for fantastic views is well worth the effort. The avid reader may wish to read the interesting books by Brian John which combine historical fact with fiction from the area, the first of which is ‘On Angel Mountain’. Why not call in the Dyffryn Arms at Cwm Gwaun (known locally as Bessie’s) for a little refreshment or visit Penlan Uchaf Gardens – just a couple of interesting places to visit. Whilst in a central position for Haverfordwest and Cardigan towns it is also only approximately 6miles from the beautiful beach at Newport and the coastal footpath revealing hidden coves and spectacular views. The Loft
The Loft shares the same location as The Old Stable and Preseli Hills Cottage. All of these properties have been tastefully renovated and refurbished to a high standard and have been awarded 5 stars from the Welsh Tourist Board. It is a one bedroom apartment converted from an old stone farm building and is above The Old Stable. It is situated in the Gwaun Valley in the Preseli Hills, ideal for walkers and bird watchers or people who just enjoy the peace in a stunning location.
The Preseli Hills is an area of outstanding beauty with wooded valleys, streams, waterfalls annd giving way to moorland with wild ponies and other wildlife. Fishguard is approx 5 miles away with plenty of restaurants, galleries and has a wealth of history including the famous tapestry depicting the Last Invasion of Britain in 1797 situated in the Library and enjoy a meal in The Royal Oak where the treaty was signed. The ferry to Rosslare leaves from the Port in Goodwick. ACCOMMODATION: The entrance to the property is via steps leading up to the front door. 1 double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower over bath, wc and washbasin. It has open plan kitchen and lounge. The kitchen area is fully equipped with gas cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine and plenty of cupboards. Swn-y-Don
A very spacious property situated in 1.3 acres of mature gardens and bordered by a fast flowing stream with small waterfalls close to Tregwynt Woollen Mill and only 1/2 mile walk to Aberbach and Abermawr beaches and the coast path. It is in a wonderful location for wild life and birds especially with the stream and trees.
Ground floor: From the hallway there is a cloakroom with wc and handbasin. The kitchen has solid pine units with gas hob and electric cooker, microwave and dishwasher and a utility room leading from the kitchen with a washing machine and fridgefreezer. French doors lead into the sun room and out onto a patio area beside the stream. PLEASE NOTE: Due to the stream it is unsuitable for small children. The spacious dining area and lounge have comfortable furniture with electric fire and TV/Video/DVD. From the lounge is a conservatory which leads to another patio area and into the large garden. Preseli Hills Cottage is a 2 bedroomed barn conversion in the same location as The Old Stable and The Loft. All 3 properties have been awarded 5 stars from the Welsh Tourist Board. It is in an area known as the Gwaun Valley in the Preseli Hills within the heart of the Pembrokeshire National Park, wooded valleys with streams, rivers, waterfalls giving way to moorland and bare hilltops with panoramic views across the Irish Sea. The wild flowers in Spring and early Summer is something not to be missed and the various wildlife makes it a place very special for nature lovers. Fishguard is only 5 miles away with its wealth of restaurants, galleries and shops. An excellent Leisure Centre with indoor swimming pool and other activities can also be found in Fishguard. Many small coves and the large Newport Beach with a golf course is only a short drive away. The county town of Haverfordwest is approx 10 miles away.

Llanffynnon
A traditional, colour washed, semi- detached welsh stone cottage with beamed ceilings on the edge of the hamlet of St. Nicholas, next to the village green and National trust Common.
The little used single track lane is full of wild flowers in the Spring and early Summer and is ideal for an evening stroll when you may well meeet a badger at dusk. There are many interesting walks in the locality: across to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path or along bridle tracks and quiet lanes, an ideal base for exploring Pembrokeshire’s sandy beaches and rocky bays.
Relax on the patio behind the cottage, set into the enclosed lawned garden with views towards the sea. Internally Llanfynnon offers comfortable accommodation. On the ground floor there is a delightful shaker style kitchen with open archway leading to the dining room. The kitchen is equipped with electric cooker, microwave and fridge freezer. Garnllys Farmhouse
Garnllys Farmhouse shares the same peaceful location as Cnwc y Bran and Y Bwthyn, half a mile from the village of St. Nicholas on the edge of the Pembrokeshire National Park and approximately 5 miles from Fishguard. We have 126 acres of moorland and pasture with neolithic remains for you to explore. After an enjoyable day why not sit outside and enjoy the sunsets followed by clear night skies which can be amazing without light polution.
The cottage has a comfortable sitting room with a stone fireplace, TV, DVD and windows on three sides. A dining room furnished with antiques and a picture window and a stable door opening onto the sunny terrace which has a picnic table and chairs. Garn Barcud, Aberbach
Garn Barcud, the name meaning Kite’s Cairn, was originally a traditional Pembrokeshire farm workers cottage. The whitewashed cottage with new Welsh slate roof, nestles under the hillside with exterior views towards Aberbach and out to sea.
The passing bridle path leads to Aberbach cottage “and onwards to Aberbach beach and subsequently the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. Families often book both cottages as they are ideally located for `get-togethers’. Explore the delightful garden tucked behind the cottage, or just relax on the terraced lawn. The valley is a wealth of flora, birds and wildlife.
The Ground Floor of this traditional cottage has been opened out to provide a spacious living area with quarry tiles and under floor electric heating. Lounge furniture, Welsh dresser and wood burning stove. Radio/cassette but no TV. The kitchen area is equipped with electric cooker, fridge and microwave oven, dining table and chairs. Forge Cottage
A detached stone built cottage adjoining the old village forge. Situated in the centre of the hamlet of St Nicholas, with lovely countryside views all around, many walks can be enjoyed from the cottage.
St Nicholas is one mile from the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and the closest beaches of Aberbach and Abermawr. Fishguard is only 5 miles away, a small coastal town, with quality shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants, and the ferry port for Rosslare, Southern Ireland. St Davids with its wonderful cathedral, Bishop’s Palace and the beach at Whitesands, is approximately 13 miles away.
Enclosed in its own garden, this quaint cottage offers comfortable accommodation. Originally two up two down, on the ground floor you will find a living room with three piece suite and TV/DVD. Through the hallway, the dining room looks out onto the front garden, from here shallow steps lead to the fitted kitchen, equipped with electric cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave oven. Felin Fawr, Abermawr
Set in the tranquil valley, sheltered from prevailing winds, explore the 7 acres of lawns, woodland, water meadow and small river leading to Aberbach beach- just 5 minutes walk through the garden shared with the owners who live in the Mill House adjacent to the cottage. There is direct access to the Pembrokeshire Coastal path from the beach with a local shuttle bus returning you to the valley, ideal for hikers.
With its original features, pine furniture and slate floors, Felin Fawr is a very welcoming cottage suitable for a holiday at any time of year. The ground floor offers a fully fitted kitchen/diner with Stanley stove. Utility room with microwave oven, fridge/freezer and washing machine. Shower Room with basin and w.c. Comfortable living room with two settees, TV and video, where French doors lead you to a patio and private lawn overlooking the stream. The ground floor double bedroom looks towards the orchard and the courtyard. Dyffryn Moor Tregwynt
Dyffryn Moor is a very popular traditional Pembrokeshire semi detached character cottage surrounded by National Trust farm and woodland and close to Aberbach beach.
A stroll to Abermawr beach will lead you on to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, whilst the more energetic can enjoy the sea and try their hand at surfing on a good day. Take advantage of the local shuttle bus and explore the locality, absorbing the spectacular coastal views at Pwll Deri, just one of the many view points in the area.
Set in a large, and tranquil garden, surrounded by mature shrubs and a perimeter stream, the location is much enjoyed by families. Beamed ceilings and thick stone walls protect a comfortable well equipped cottage. On the ground floor you will find a newly fitted kitchen/diner with cooker, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Cnwc y Bran
Cnwc y Bran, a barn conversion with its own garden, shares the same location as Garnllys Farmhouse and Y Bwthyn half a mile from the village of St Nicholas which is approximately 5 miles from Fishguard and 12 miles from St Davids. It has its own garden, with picnic table and fine views of Fishguard Bay and the Preseli Hills. There are 26 acres of moorland and pasture for you to explore.

Carngowil, Goodwick
A traditional stone farmhouse dating from the 14th century, tastefully renovated and refurbished to a very high standard. Sitting on the hillside above Goodwick, the cottage has a large private garden surrounded by trees with partial views of Fishguard bay, framed by the distant Preseli hills, the Irish sea and the coastline stretching towards Cardigan Bay.
Beamed ceilings, oak floors, original mantels, open fires and a new Aga are just some of the delightful features in this sympathetic renovation. Surrounded by lawns, mature garden patio and playing paddock for the children the cottage is very well presented comprising: Fully fitted kitchen with Aga, combination microwave oven, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Caerau Isaf, Trefin
Situated in a quiet lane enjoying superb views from Strumble Head peninsula to Porthgain. It provides a superb vantage point from which to track the main birds of passage that pass over the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.The beautiful beach of Ynys Barry is only two miles away.
Caerau Isaf is a traditional stonebuilt semi detached cottage. All the accommodation is situated on the ground floor. Beamed ceilings and quarry tiled floors, keeping some of its original charm and character, the cottage offers deightful accommodation, is comfortably furnished and well equipped.
Kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave oven. Back door leading to a patio area. Separate Dining room, Leading to Lounge comfortably furnished, featuring a coal burner. Colour TV combined DVD. CD player. Leading through to Sun room with delightful views towards the sea. There is a double futon which can be used to sleep extra persons.
Off the hall there is a family bathroom with electric shower over bath. A separate shower room and two twin bedrooms, both comfortably furnished with pine slatted beds. There is a small den in eves if you want to escape.
Heating is a combination of Oil fired central heating and storage heaters.

Aberbach (Smugglers) Cottage
Tucked in the hillside, this quaint, traditional Welsh stone cottage has fabulous views across the valley, beach and bay to the islands at Abercastle. Once the haunt of smugglers, it is one of the oldest properties in the area and has many traditional features.
Approached via a bridleway approx. 1/2 mile off the coast road, this is the ultimate place to get away from it all and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this peaceful valley. The secluded pebbly beach of Aberbach is approximately 100 yards away. Ideal for swimming, it has some sand at low tide rocks and pools to explore with direct access to the Pembrokeshire Coastal path.
During the winter of 2012 the kitchen diner has been totally renovated with quarry tiles and under floor electric heating, electric cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave oven and dishwasher. The archway leads to the living room featuring a inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove, two settees, fireside chair, welsh dresser and table. The double bedroom is situated at one end of the cottage and there are two shower rooms with wc and hand basin. The washing machine is housed in a cupboard in one of the shower rooms. A solid staircase leads from the hall to an open twin bedroom, a doorway leads through to a second twin room. Both rooms are tucked in the eves. The third twin room is situated above the living room and is accessed by a solid loft ladder.
